The first ARCADIA festival on community-led adaptation is dedicated to empowering change-makers for climate resilience through Nature-based Solutions (NBS). By fostering the exchange of knowledge, tools, and best practices, the Festival aims to equip local and regional actors with the means to adapt to climate challenges and implement effective, sustainable solutions. This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration, innovation, and community engagement in building a climate-resilient future.
ARCADIA is set to organise three major Festivals on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) throughout the project (2025 in Croatia, 2026 in Denmark and 2027 in Bulgaria). These events are designed to serve as platforms for sharing knowledge, showcasing best practices, and fostering collaboration on NbS for climate resilience.
Each festival will bring together policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and innovators to discuss and co-design solutions for enhancing regional resilience through nature-based approaches.
