The City of Stockholm and KTH Royal Institute of Technology are collaborating through a scientific council to tackle climate challenges. This collaborative effort has existed since 2020 with a focus on reducing consumption-based emissions and promoting cost-effective climate strategies. The council integrates researchers and city officials to foster knowledge exchange and long-term solutions for sustainable urban development. Both institutions emphasise the importance of measurable impacts, governance, and interdisciplinary dialogue to accelerate Stockholm’s goal of becoming a climate-positive city.
