The IDEATION project kicked off June 1st 2024 and will have two years to provide the European Commission the reference architecture and roadmap for the design of a Digital Twin Inland Waters to be integrated with the already existing Digital Twin Ocean.
Several Watershare partners are involved, including KWR as Work Package 2 (WP2) lead focusing on the involvement of Water Oriented Living Labs (WoLLs) and relevant stakeholders and the University of Exeter who will lead tasks on cataloguing (collecting and analysing) the potential impact and scope of policy and regulatory frameworks, and governance structures dealing with inland water and identifying areas to maximise effectiveness of technological infrastructure and services.
